THE PORTABLE DOOR (Feature)

 

Produced by the Jim Henson Company / Story Bridge Films and Directed by Jeffery Walker, The Portable Door is based on the popular book by Tom Holt.

Starring Patrick Gibson, Sophie Wilde and veterans Christof Waltz and Sam Neil, The Portable Door follows an intern at a mysterious London firm with unconventional employers who want to disrupt the ancient an ancient magical world with modern corporate practices.

Chroma produced over 100 shots for the 4K HDR feature raging from the titular door effects, asset creation and CG integration and character animation, to diverse location and production design enhancements throughout.

The Portable Door comes to screens as a Stan Original in 2023.

ROCK ISLAND MYSTERIES (SERIES)

 

Produced by FremantleMedia for Nickelodeon and Network 10, Rock Island Mysteries follows the adventures of 14 year old Taylor and her friends as they explore the mysterious island.

Chroma produced over 250 4K shots across the 20 episode series including extensive CG integration, set extension and location enhancements and a wide range of fantasy effects.

Rock Island Mysteries comes to Nickelodeon and Network 10 in 2022.

AFTER THE VERDICT (SERIES)

Sullivan Stapleton stars in After The Verdict for the Nine Network. Four jurors on a high profile murder case start to question their verdict and begin their own investigation. 

Chroma produced a wide range of 4K visual effects for the 6 episode series including extensive location and production design enhancements and creation of a video game for one particular scene.

After The Verdict comes to the Nine Network in 2022.

SURVIVING SUMMER (MINISERIES)

Werner Film Productions new teen drama, Surviving Summer comes to Netflix in 2022. A rebellious American teen is sent to live with a friend in Australia, only to fall in love with the town, the people and the surf.

Chroma produced over 200 4K shots for the 10 episode series, ranging from location augmentation, production design enhancement and various surf and stunt shots.

THE AUSTRALIAN WARS (DOCO)

Blackfella films presents The Australian Wars, a documentary that shines light on the conflict that established the Australian nation.

Chroma provided location enhancements and stunt solutions throughout the 3-part SBS series.

GOLD (Feature)

Zac Effron stars in Gold, a story of greed and isolation set against an endless desert. The film is a Stan Original directed by Anthony Hayes and produced by Deeper Water.

Our team produced over 300 anamorphic shots for the feature to give the film its distinctive look.

From location enhancements, live action animal integration, stunts and prosthetics, to an extensive dust storm sequence, set extensions, CG vehicles and countless production design and technical enhancements throughout.
